I am going to start my first review on Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC). The first time I visited MITEC was on November 2017 where SMIDEX was held there for the first time. It looked futuristic from the outside and when I stepped inside, I think it is the most beautiful exhibition centre in Malaysia.

However, before you get to be amazed with its interiors, you have to overcome the biggest challenge ever : getting there. Unlike any other large exhibition centre, MITEC is not connected to and nowhere near any public transportation. The default way to reach there is by car.

Traffic to MITEC during Mood Republik Raya 2019.

You may reach but you may not be able to park there. The problem with driving to MITEC is the number of parking bays provided. According to their website, they only have 1400 parking bays. Someone genius back then decided 1400 was enough. This causes big headache for everyone : organisers, exhibitors and visitors wanting to go there. Unless you are a minister, the only way to get a parking spot is to reach before the event opening time.

Enough with the parking criticism; lets talk about the exciting part of MITEC. Immediately after you entered the lobby, you will feel like you are in an exclusive place.
